Day 49: Still the popular guy that gets all the girls

A small but interesting footnote is that Obama is currently favored 69 over 23, according to an average from a large bunch of polls over at RealClearPolitics. Gallup positioned him at a stunning 72/19 according to that site.
So if we had a sister site called How is Obama doing, it would currently read: pretty damn well.
Gallups own website has made some other neat statistics as well.
Obama's speech was well-received, and appears to have won him back support he had been losing in prior days, and then some.
And this one show that surprisingly, even many republicans took a shine to the “socialist” president after his speech:
There has been a sharp increase in support among Republicans, from 27% to 42%.
Democrats are, non-surprisingly, major cheerleaders and has now toppled up to the stunning 90% figure.
