The world once more views US favorably

BBC reports from a poll that checks how people around the world views other countries, and for the first time since the Iraq war the US influence are seen as more positive than negative. What’s been called “The Obama Effect” seem to be true and holding. Just check the steep rise of this graph!

any reports on his failure to do much of anything about the oil disaster? nope…
Aren’t everyone very keen on keeping private industries unregulated?
The gulf of mexico isn’t owned by BP, regardless of what one thinks of regulating industry or not- an environmental disaster is something that he should be spending a little more time on. Take pictures with sports teams, going on vacation, and playing golf shouldn’t be of higher importance. He needs to stop worrying about putting his thumb on BP and focus on the important part… cleaning up the mess. Lawyers and bad-mouthing can come later.
In over 40 days hes gone down there three times, and what has he done… threatened BP and discussed a moratorium on oil isn’t going to fix the current mess, it’ll just put our economy back in a hole, increase money being sent overseas and dependence on foreign oil, and put tons of people out of work on the gulf coast. Obama needs to stop worrying about the party system and continual-campaigning. He needs to focus on getting problems fixed, not just doing what ever he feels like with his time and our money.
